Deerfield Oceon Villas cost 42 Dollars and was just the place we needed. Debbie was amazing and helped with our late arrival. Pics below after we tidied up!
Headed back to Miami for the truck tent. Ordering this for store pickup was a nightmare! Sure amazon has loads, as does Walmart, Target etc but to get it to the store for collection, impossible. Then I chanced on site called Napa. A truck accessories retailer who had one for pickup on the 25th, perfect. Drove back an hour to get it, got two free caps (my colleague Jaques will be happy). We looked at the truck and knew it was too small. Called Alamo, they said come get a replacement. We did and got our new pickup, a beast, A Ram Bighorn!
Going to skip the rest of the day. Getting camp stuff for the price I wanted took all day. It was horrible for both us, mostly for Ki. Being the son of a serial penny pincher is hard work! It took its toll, we shouted, made up, shouted some more! Cost us our campsite so we booked a last minute hotel. More zzzzzz are seen.
